We are a family-owned tire and repair shop right in old-town Star, on the corner of Star Road and State Street. No franchise playbook, no call center, no quota to hit. Just a white block building with a yellow stripe, a metal star on the gable, and a hand-painted board by the door listing everything we do.
That board, and the people behind the counter, are the whole business. When you walk in, you are talking to the people who own the place and turn the wrenches, not a service writer working off a script.

Dan is the name in review after review. He is the one who calls before anything gets touched, tells you what your car needs and what it does not, and has handed back the keys with no charge when the fix turned out to be nothing. Bring in an odd job or an old truck and he will take it on when other shops pass.

Before the shop on Star Road, the trade ran through Al Holl Tire Center over on Chinden in Garden City. That is where the 40-plus years in the tire and repair business come from. We are not a startup with a fresh logo. We are the next chapter of an old-school operation that has been doing this a long time.
It is why we can put a good used tire on your car when the chains only want to sell you new, and why an odd job or an old truck does not scare us off.
We tell you straight
Here is how it goes. You drop it off, we look it over, and then we call before we touch anything. You hear what your car needs, what it does not, and the exact price, and nothing gets fixed until you say go. Estimates are free.
People write about us handing the keys back with no charge when the fix turned out to be nothing. One brought in a 1966 Chevy C-10 that other shops would not deal with, and we checked it out for free and sent him off without selling him a thing. That is not a slogan.
